Get Involved

Sophie is the Club and Volunteer Support Officer. In her role, she will be working closely with our clubs and volunteers to support the growth of our sport. She joined the Welsh Athletics team in 2026, after previously working as a primary school teacher and sports coach. Over the years, she has been involved with many youth and adult participation programmes with Torfaen Health, Sport and Fitness and is very enthusiastic to share her passion as she supports our clubs and volunteers.
