Our programme offers a mix of online, in-person, and flexible learning options, so you can fit training around your schedule and learn at a pace that suits you.

A Fun Introduction to Run, Jump, Throw
Athletix Activator is our a brand-new recreational athletics programme designed especially for children aged 4–12 who are new to the sport or who want to enjoy athletics in a fun, relaxed environment.
An introductory course to coaching athletics through running, jumping, and throwing activities. On completion, you’ll be able to support the delivery of coaching sessions under the guidance of a qualified coach.
Well suited to those leading groups of recreational or beginner runners, whether within an affiliated running or athletics club or a Run Wales group. This qualification also provides the insurance needed for you to lead sessions.
An intensive training programme designed for senior athletes who have represented GB&NI or a Home Nation. It enables them to achieve the Athletics Coach qualification while building on the knowledge and experience gained throughout their athletics career.
Welsh Athletics offer schools a broad range of resources and programmes, with both online training modules and face-to-face workshops available for teachers in primary and secondary schools.
Already a qualified coach or leader?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Anyone with a wealth of coaching experience and knowledge in athletics or other sports can enter the coaching pathway directly at an appropriate level. HERE
