Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Canada – October 20
Josh Griffiths ran the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon yesterday, finishing 13th just short of his personal best in 2:15.30
Great South Run, Southsea– October 20
Jenny Nesbitt finished 3rd in a strong field including a new record by Elish Mcolgan who won the race. Jenny Nesbitt finished in55:18.
TCS Amsterdam Marathon, Amsterdam – September 20
Three Welsh Masters runners took part in Amsterdam. Simon Lewis from Pontpridd Roadants AC finished in 2:40.25, Matthew Jacklin from Aberdare Valley AAC in 2:43.40 and Andrew Blair from Les Croupiers came home in 2:50.29.
West Glamorgan Cross Country League, Llanmadoc – September 20
The first fixture of the West Glamorgan Cross Country League took place yesterday in Llanmadoc in North Gower yesterday.

North Wales Cross Country League, Colwyn Bay – September 19
Bangor University took the win at the match in Colwyn Bay with Joe Steward coming home in 34:19. Steward’s teammate came through in 3rd running 37:20.
In the Women’s race, Eden O’Dea from Deeside AC in 22:14. She was followed by Bangor University’s Lucy Williamson in 23:02. Two Welsh clubs are leading the tables after this round, Eryri Harriers lead in Division One and Prestatyn RC lead in Division Two.
Flintshire 10K, Mold – September 20
In the Men’s race, Tom Roberts was the first Welshman home in 2nd place from Team North Wales, running 31:56.23 with teammate Steven Hayes coming 4th in 32:57.95.
In the Women’s race, Lucy Marland from Cardiff AC was the first home in 35:44.00. She was followed by Elliw Haf from Team North Wales in 40:12.58.
Gwent Leisure Centre League, Parc Bryn Bach – September 20
In the Men’s race, Jamie Parry, from the host club Parc Bryn Bach, took the win followed by Jeff Wherlock from Lliswerry Runners and Lloyd Cottrell from Lliswerry Runners.
The results were similar in the women’s race. Parc Bryn Bach runner Lauren Cooper took the win with Lizzie Dimond from Lliswerry Runners taking 2nd followed by teammate Sandra Chipper in 3rd
