On Track Fest, 6 May
In Los Angeles Performance Programme Athlete Melissa Courtney-Bryant (Poole AC) got her outdoor season underway. Competing in the 5000m, Courtney Bryant finished in 6 position with a time of 15:09:23.
2023 Porthkerry 5 Miler, 7 May
At the Porthkerry 5 Miler on Sunday Jacob Tasker (Ogmore Phoenix Runners) made it back-to-back wins, winning the men’s race with a time of 28:09. Just a week ago Tasker took victory at the Red Kite Challenge.
In the women’s race, Alaw Evans (Les Croupiers) was first across the finish line with a time of 34:24.
Youth Development League, 7 May
Many Welsh clubs were in action in the Youth Development League over the weekend.
On Sunday Swansea Harriers AC hosted the opening fixture of the 2023 Youth Development League for Midland Premier South/West at the Carmarthen Athletics Track in Johnstown.
