Simplyhealth Great Stirling Cross Country International - Saturday 12th January - Stirling, Scotland
Wales' Charlotte Arter (Cardiff AAC) produced another stunning performance as she finished second in the Senior Women's 6k race at the Simplyhealth Great Stirling Cross Country International on Saturday afternoon. The Cardiff athlete finished in 20:06, just five seconds behind Europe's Elena Burkard after challenging for the lead for much of the race, and led the charge for British Athletics in the team event. Welsh duo Kris Jones (Swansea Harriers) and Charlie Hulson (Liverpool Harriers) finished 12th and 13th respectively in a high calibre Senior Men's field, coming home as the 3rd and 4th scorers for the British team.

10k Valencia Ibercaja - Sunday 13th January - Valencia, Spain
Jenny Nesbitt (Worcester AC) clocked a new 10k road lifetime best as she clocked 33:10 at the Valencia Ibercaja on Sunday afternoon.
2019 Scottish National Indoor Open - Saturday 12th January - Glasgow, Scotland
Welsh 400m runners Owen Smith (Cardiff AAC) and Joe Brier (Swansea Harriers) opened up their indoor seasons in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon. Smith clocked 47.62 to run the fastest time of the day, with Brier clocking 48.27 for second fastest time of the day.
Lougborough Students AC Open - Saturday 12th January - Loughborough
Cardiff's Jonathon Bailey finished 2nd in the Senior Men's High Jump at the Loghborough Students AC Open on Saturday with a season's best height of 2.02 metres.
West Wales Indoor Championships - Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th January - Swansea
It was an action packed weekend at the West Wales Indoor Championships, with over 300 athletes pariticpating in events across both days of action. Carmarthen Harrier's Nathan Jones provided a detailed report from the event which you can read here.

North Wales Indoor Championships - Saturday 12th January - Connah's Quay
