Virtual success - 5k Challenge proves popular

This weekend saw the first of a series of online challenges using the virtual racing platform developed with our partners Opentrack. Over 350 people of all ages and abilities took part from across Wales, raising over £1100 for Kidney Wales in the process.

For some, it was a chance to push themselves to the limits in hot conditions (- on Saturday at least):

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

whilst for others, it was a family affair... well done to the Hardman's!

 

 

 

 

Congratulations and Thank you all who took part and donated towards Kidney Wales. The top Teams based on the combined positions of the first 4 athletes for each club were as follows:

The next Challenge will be over 1mile and will take place from 23rd to 25th May - the next Bank Holiday weekend - in a fortnight's time. Entries will open tomrrow and donations will this time go to the NSPCC
