Virgin Giving London Mini Marathon

36 athletes have been selected to compete for Wales at the Virgin Giving London Mini Marathon on Sunday, October 3rd.
Those selected will race against athletes from across the UK over the final 2.6km of the iconic London Marathon course. The race will culminate on The Mall where young athletes will get to experience the same finish line as many of the greats of the Sport such as Paula Radcliffe and Eliud Kipchoge.
Wales has a rich history in the London Mini Marathon with previous winners including Osian Perrin and Dewi Griffiths.
Liz Davies (Endurance Talent Development) commented:
“The Virgin Giving London Mini Marathon is a great development event for young athletes. It’s a hugely inspiring and enjoyable competition that creates many positive memories for those involved. I would like to congratulate all the athletes selected and their coaches. I would also like to thank the volunteer team managers who will be supporting the event”
