Six Welsh athletes selected for Euro Cross Country Championships Next Month

Six Welsh athletes have been selected as part of the GB team heading out to the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon, Portugal on Sunday 8th December. The team includes U20 Matt Willis who is unbeaten in the Cross Challenges series so far this year and Cardiff Cross winner Charlotte Arter who also finished 2nd at the Liverpool Cross Challenge.
The six Welsh athletes will be part of a 40-strong GB team heading out to Lisbon next month.
Speaking about his selection, Matt Willis said:
"I’m delighted to be selected for Euro Cross Champs for GB for my 3rd and final year as a junior. We’ve got a strong team so hopefully we can come back with a team medal and if all things come together, then I’d love to bring back a medal individually too."
