Welsh Athletics is pleased to announce the launch of the 2020 Modernisation and Development Fund.

The fund is designed to support athletics across Wales with a real focus on modernisation and grassroots development of the sport.

Chris Moss, Head of Development and Participation, added;

“This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs across Wales to access potential grant aid to support additional projects. Last year we saw close to £20,000 invested into grassroots athletics and activities to support, clubs, schools districts and regions across Wales and once again it is fantastic that we are in a position to offer this support once again. I am excited about the potential impact that this funding will have and look forward to working closely with the panel. As in previous years, we would welcome a range of ambitious progressive applications and encourage all clubs to consider the eligibility criteria and applying to the fund for support”.
