Armagh 5k Preview

The Armagh International Road Races are one of the highlights of the winter road racing season, and we are excited for their return following a break due to the pandemic.
The strong Welsh team competing includes a range of experienced senior internationals and up and coming talents. The team will be managed by Arwel Lewis (Eryri Harriers) and Paul Adams (Caerleon RC).
In the female 3km race, GB international Charlotte Arter (Cardiff Athletics) returns to competitive racing and will feature here for the first time since 2017. Spanish based Angharad Davies (Carmarthen Harriers) and Olivia Tsim will join her in the Welsh Team. U20 athlete Moli Lyons (Cardiff Athletics) will also be racing.
In the male 5km race, Kristian Jones (Swansea Harriers) will lead the Welsh Team, joined by Mike Ward (Cardiff Athletics) and Dafydd Jones (Carmarthen Harriers).
U20 athlete Adam Barber (Harborough AC) will be competing following a strong performance at his BUCS Cross Country Championships debut where he finished 14th.
