Welcome to the first ever Tough Runner Trail Festival. Taking you on a journey both mentally and physically through the beautiful surroundings of the Epic Afan Forest Country Park. Over the last few months, The team at Tough Runner UK have been working closely with Natural Resources Wales to develop a courses that are safe, fair and challenging.

The Marathon course will include Pelenna Forest & Michealston Forest with the 10k and Half marathon also including some of the most breathtaking scenery in Afan forest

EVENT DETAILS:
This event will take place on Saturday 27th July 2019

3 AWESOME races: Tough Runner Trail Marathon, 10.30 am.
                                   Tough Runner Trail Half Marathon, 10.45 am.
                                   Tough Runner Trail 10k, 11 am.

This day will be more than just a race. There will be entertainment, expo tents, food, drinks and even cash prizes for the overall Marathon winners!

The Tough Runner Trail Festival will take place from the Bryn Bettws Lodge with the races taking you through the beauty of the Afan Valley. The 10K and Half Marathon will be as tough as ever, and the Marathon will be set across two mountains.

This has been a long time in planning as we have wanted to not only nail an excellent event experience but also race routes that will not only give you a brutal challenge but make you want to come back year after year!

On 27th July, this event is set to be one of the most exciting events ever to be staged in the Afan Valley and is certainly one not to be missed.
