ATHLETES NOTES:

On the day you will need to register for your event no less than 90 minutes prior to the event start.

Every event will close 60 minutes before each event start, if you have not registered by then you will not be taking part in that event.

Registration will be found in or around the studio building, which is found halfway up the home straight on the left.

If it is raining registration will be inside the studio

When you visit registration please let them know the following to help

You will be issued two number to wear back and front. with the exception of High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump you only need 1 number on the front, Pole Vault will only need 1 number on the back. Pins are your responsibility for the day's event and will not be issued at registration.

Please also let the registration volunteers know your events that you intend taking part in, and those events you are not.

ALL personal or season best performances will be updated with automatic downloads up to Friday 9th May from your profile on P10
please do not email the organisers to update times that you may have run since entering.

We are also looking to have volunteers to help during the day's events on registration and presentation.

ALL ENTRY AND EVENT CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS ARE SET BY THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF SOUTH AND EAST WALES.

maximum athlete entries per event limited to 30

ALL U13 & U15 ATHLETES CAN ONLY TAKE PART IN 3 EVENTS ON ONE DAY UNDER UK RULES AND ONLY 1 DISTANCE EVENT

East Wales
(A) Birth: If born in Blaenau Gwent, Newport, Monmouthshire, Torfaen, Powys and Caerphilly
(B) Residence: If have been resident, (9 months) continuously in East Wales since August 1st 2024
(C) Retention: If having qualified under (b) or (c), they retain the qualification until they acquire residential qualification and compete in the championships of another Welsh region or an English county AND They have not taken part in a different Welsh Regional or English County Championships and not represented another Welsh Region or and English County in an Inter-Regional or Inter County event since October 1st 2024

South Wales     
(A) Birth: If born in one of the five administrative counties of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taff and the Vale of Glamorgan or in the former Mid Glamorgan section of Caerphilly (previous selected athletes only)
(B) Residence: If have been resident, (9 months) continuously in South Wales since August 1st 2024
(C) Retention: If having qualified under (b) or (c), they retain the qualification until they acquire residential qualification and compete in the championships of another Welsh region or an English county AND They have not taken part in a different Welsh Regional or English County Championships and not represented another Welsh Region or and English County in an Inter-Regional or Inter County event since October 1st 2024

All entrants shall be deemed to have made him/herself familiar with and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.

The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the entrant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

Role specific training will be provided on the day, to make sure you understand what's involved and support you. You'll get close to the action, probably some of the best seats in the house....FIND OUT MORE HERE.
