Entries have now closed and no late entries will be accepted, if you do run for a club affiliated to the Gwent League you can still run the event via the league entry. Please contact your club
The Cardiff Cross Challenge is Wales' top annual athletics event and one of the top Cross Country fixtures in the UK. The event holds a Gold Label in the World Athletics Cross Country Tour and will take place on Saturday 8 November in 2025
The races will also host the first fixture in the UK Cross Challenge Series providing a great opportunity to face the best British athletes ahead of the European Trials at Liverpool two weeks later. In addition, it will offer an opportunity for local athletes to face some of the best International Cross Country performers.
the 2025 event will also host the UK trial for the Mixed relay team at the Spar European Cross Country Championships.
The event will also host Primary School Races held in conjunction with the Urdd Gobaith Cymru that can be entered HERE
