Event Information

A new race taking in the the industrial heritage sites of Blaenavon.  The race starts near the Blaenavon Steam Railway (Race HQ) passes Big Pit before heading into the village of Forgeside.  The route then heads down into the Afon Llwyd Valley before a short climb up towards the Blaenavon Iron Works.  The route then heads through the Gilchrist Thomas industrial Estate before turning up the cycle path towards the Garn Lakes.  After a short loop inside the Garn Lakes the course then follows the cycle path all the way back down to Forgeside and then retraces the route back to the Finish at the Steam Railway.

Prizes 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female overall, 1st M40, F40, M50, F50, M60, F60, M70 and F70. Overall Course Record Male or Female £50.00
