Following the success of the Officials Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions in previous years, we are pleased to announce the next session is scheduled for March as part of the wider series of officials education webinars, facilitated by the Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAFs – Athletics Northern Ireland, England Athletics, Scottish Athletics & Welsh Athletics)
The CoP sessions are designed to be short sessions that focus on particular areas of officiating and cover a wide range of topics across different disciplines. All the sessions allow for continuous and professional development (CPD) for Officials across different disciplines and levels. If there are any topic areas you think the Home Country Athletics Federations should cover, please do not hesitate to contact officials@welshathletics.org

I have been asked to do a level 2 feedback sheet. What do I record on this?

This session will provide an overview of the importance of discipline feedback sheet(s) for aspiring level 2 officials. Guidance and support will be provided to all officials who have been or are asked to complete one of the discipline feedback sheets, particularly what information should be included in this and how to structure this, to ensure the official can continue to progress and develop. It will also provide clarity on to officials looking to get a feedback sheet on what the official completing the feedback sheet is looking for.
