Brackla Harriers Christmas Pudding Race
DATE: SUNDAY 14TH DECEMBER
LOCATION: MERTHYR MAWR
EVENT INFORMATION: CAN BE FOUND HERE
The Brackla Harriers Merthyr Mawr Christmas Pudding Race is a landmark event in the South Wales running calendar. Taking place on a Sunday in early December (tide dependent), the race attracts a faithful following, averaging in recent years over 700 entrants (18 years+) The event appeals to all types of runners – from elite runners donning their club vests to fun runners in their festive fancy dress.
The race covers just over 6 miles, taking in a range of terrains including ‘the big dipper’- Europe’s second highest sand dune, with a mulled wine and mince pie stop halfway.
Brackla Harriers take great pride in the organisation and delivery of our beloved Pudding Race each year and our 80+ Harrier marshalls look forward to welcoming runners old and new to this year’s event
