We are continuing to monitor the forecast for Pembrey and the surrounding area for Saturday.

At present, there is no reason to cancel or make any changes to the event.

Provisional course alteration plans are in place if needed, and we are in regular contact with the park managers who will inform us if they feel cancellation or any changes to the course or infrastructure are required in the interests of competitor / spectator safety. If this is the case, it will be communicated directly to all entrants and team managers. Any changes will also appear on the event page of the Welsh Athletics Website and distributed on Social Media.

Please come prepared with appropriate clothing :)

Parking arrangements

Entry to the Park

Pembrey Country Park has a new barrier system in place where we have a Vehicle Number Plate Registration (ANPR) system. On arrival:

• Drive up to the barrier which will open automatically. If it does not open press for a ticket and barrier will open.
• Payments must be made before leaving at any of the 3 new pay stations situated at: Beach Entrance, Ski & Activity Centre & Log Cabin before you exit the park.
• There are No Pay Stations at the exit barrier.
• Car parking charges are £3.50 for all day and £3.00 for 2 hours.

All Pay Stations are clearly marked and will accept card, contactless and cash payments.

Parking

When you enter the Park you should follow the signs to the designated car parks. These are clearly signed in the Park and cater for over 1,000 cars. The course map shows where the car parks are in relation to the course.
