Virtual classroom UKA Level 4 Endurance Official course

The UKA Level 4 Endurance Course will take place on Sunday 16th April 2023 as a Virtual Classroom Course and is now available for booking. Please read the information below which contains further information.

Who Should attend a Level 4 Endurance Course?

  • Level 3 officials wishing to move to Level 4P
  • Existing Level 4 officials interested in updating their education and mentoring other officials’
  • Other Endurance Officials who may wish to progress at a future time

What is the difference between Level 3 and Level 4 Endurance?

  • An official working at Level 4 would have the technical experience of operating at a more senior level, especially the Chief Official.
  • Experience of operating in races with larger competitor fields.
  • Knowledge and experience of events above County/Regional Standard.
  • Attainment of higher level of skills and competencies.
  • Performance management of the event.
  • Further development of an appreciation of Health and Safety and Risk Management.


An official who becomes Level 4 will be eligible to go onto the UKA Active List for consideration for major meetings and championships, which may include televised meetings.

The course will take place from 10am until 3pm on Sunday 16th April and will cost £30.
