The Communities of Practice is a programme of short sessions that focus on particular areas of officiating and cover a wide range of topics across different disciplines. The sessions allow for continuous and professional development (CPD) for officials across different disciplines and levels.
This session will detail what the role of photo-finish technician involves, what some of the tasks the role involves before and leading up to an event where photo-finish is in use at an event. With photo-finish being used more and more at club/league/grassroots events, knowing what equipment/who to communicate with or general awareness of role of photo-finish technician, this is a fantastic opportunity to build on your knowledge and skills of working within and progressing within the discipline.
