The Wrexham 10K, organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events, is a vibrant road race that blends the charm of Wrexham town centre with the tranquillity of country lanes. The one‑lap route starts and finishes on Queen Street, offering runners scenic variety, closed roads, and a supportive local atmosphere. Designed for participants of all levels—from beginners to seasoned competitors—this event promises a memorable run in the heart of North Wales.

  • Date & Time – Sunday, 26 April 2026 — Race start at 9:00 AM (arrive by 8:00 AM for warm‑ups)

  • Location – Race HQ, Start & Finish: Queen Street, Wrexham town centre

  • Event Type – Road race — 10K (one loop combining town streets and scenic countryside)

Race Description

Participants experience a dynamic mix of urban and rural scenery. Beginning in downtown Wrexham, the course ventures onto peaceful country lanes before returning to the lively town finish. The route is fully closed to traffic, ensuring safety and an uninterrupted experience.

    • Chip timing for all participants

    • One midway water station (~5 km) and additional water at start/finish (runners are encouraged to bring a bottle)

  • Prizes — awards for the top 3 male and female finishers, along with age group recognitions across both genders

Additional Information

  • Cut-off Time: 90 minutes; roads reopen in accordance with runner pace for safety reasons 

  • Minimum Age: 15 years old
