Manchester Half Marathon
Kris Jones (Swansea) ran a solo 63:46 half marathon to claim a clear victory at the Manchester Half Marathon. Crossing the line nearly three and a half minutes ahead of second place, Kris now turns his attention to the World Trail 40km in Chiang Mai, Thailand, taking place in four weeks time.

European 50km Championships, Spain
Andy Davies (Stockport) and Dan Nash (Cardiff) headed to Avila, Spain to take on the European 50km Championships.
For Andy this was his second attempt at the 50km, after competing at the 2016 World 50km Championships in Doha, wher he finished fifth in a time of 2:58:25. Running a new personal best and a time of 2:53:09 this time around, Davies finished in a fantastic third, securing a place on the podium and helping to contribute to a Great Britain team gold medal.
Dan Nash, the current British 50km record holder, ran a time of 2:55:00 to finish seventh overall, again helping to contribute to the team gold medal.
