Club Award Winner - Thank you Gareth Williams

During Volunteers Week we have been celebrating the amazing activities of so many volunteers across Wales that give tirelessly in order to bring the sport, and so much joy, to others.
Today we are celebrating 2019 Club Volunteer of the Year, Parc Bryn Bach’s Gareth Williams.
As one of the key volunteers for Parc Bryn Bach Running Club, he has shown endless commitment towards the club and fellow runners. For over seven years he has helped out at parkrun events and has been described as;
“humble, supportive and always there for you, and an awesome role model”
Gareth helps people from all backgrounds to get into running from beginers, through the Couch 2 5K programme and the Parc Bryn Bach First Strides group
Other runners and fellow volunteers at the club have also described him as “a lovely person” and “fabulous gentleman” it is clear that he is a well respected and someone who thrives on helping other achieve their potential.
