Cottrell Park Christmas Cracker, Cardiff – Dec 15
The annual Christmas Cracker race took place in Cottrell Park yesterday with Oliver Williams from White Rock Runners taking the win. He was followed by a close battle between Rhys Hardman from Cardiff Archers and Adam Brown from Merthyr Running Club with Hardman just pushing ahead of Brown to take 2nd.
In the women’s race, Sierra Brill took the win of Cardiff AC’s Laura Wright with Tammy Nurse coming through to finish 3rd.
RUN4ALL Neath 5K Santa Run, Neath – Dec 14
Chris Lloyd from Run4All Neath took the win in this Christmas run with Nicky Bennett from Ogmore Phoenix Runners and Jonathon Arvis from Run4All Neath taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
In the Women’s race, Porthcawl runner Deb Roberts took the win. Behind her was a close race between Bridgend runner Natasha Barton and Marissa Bartle with Barton taking the edge across the line to finish 2nd.
