Diamond League, Zurich

At the Diamond League final in Zurich, European 1,500m Silver Medalist, Jake Heyward (Cardiff) finished his track season with a 9th place finish in a time of 3:34.27.

Watford Open Graded Meeting

Melissa Courtney Bryant (Poole) ran a seasons best in the 3,000m, stopping the clock at 8:47.67 in a mixed race.

Cardiff Throws Meeting, Aberdare

In the final Throws Meeting of the year, the following athletes threw personal bests.

U15M; Joshua Grist (DSW Para) - SP3kg, 5.04m
U13M; Joseph Symons (DSW Para) - SP2.72kg; 5,84m
U17W; Abby Barnfield ((Rhondda) - HT3kg; 40.65m

Fifth Avenue Mile, New York

Both Jake Heyward (Cardiff) and Melissa Courtney Bryant (Poole) were in action again as they made their way over the pond to finish up their seasons at the infamous Fifth Avenue Mile.

It was a fantastic end to the season for Jake, as he finished second behind fellow Brit, and World 1,500m champion Jake Wightman in a time of 3:49.9.

For Melissa, it was a 9th place finish in an impressive 4:20.9s, which was a personal best.

Memorial Borisa Hanzekovica, Zagreb

In Zagreb, David Locke (Cardiff) continued his fantastic season with another personal best over 800. This time he clocked 1:46.41 in the Men’s 800m.

Jeremiah Azu (Cardiff) also continued his excellent season, as the European 100m Bronze medalist beat Commonwewlth Games Champion Ferdinand Omurwa to place 2nd in a time of 10.14s.
