This weekend sees Wales' top endurance athletes again heading up to London to take on some of the UK & World's best.
On Sunday Melissa Courtney will line up for the Westminster mile alongside Laura Muir - the two having finished 1st & 2nd at the European Indoors in Glasgow earlier this year. Melissa is defending champion having won last year in 4.35, just ahead of Sarah McDonald, and clearly enjoys road mile races, having also contested the New York 5th Avenue mile in 2018 where she finished 3rd in a rapid 4.20.
Monday will see a strong squad of Welsh athletes being supported to take on the 10k before many will turn their attention to the track and preparations for the European Cup at Highgate 10,000m in July as the stepping stone for potential Doha qualification and selection.
