The Weekend Round Up - U20 & U23 Championships Inc. European Trials

It was another great weekend of performances at the U20 & U23 Championships Inc. European Trials in Bedford.
There were a total of 11 medals won during the weekend with 2 Golds, 5 Silvers, and Tom Wilcock in the U20 110m Bronze medals.
The gold medals came from the new British U20 1500m Champion Ben Reynolds [Arwyn Davies], and the new British U23 Discus Champion James Tomlinson [Paul Jensen].
The silver medals came from Bethany Moule [John Davies] in the U23 Javelin, Jeremiah Azu [Helen James] in the U23 100m, Cari Hughs [Andrew Walling] in the U23 1500m, Bronwen Reed [Stephen Ball] in the 400m, Harry Davies [Matthew Rosser] in the U20 Discus and Reuban Nairne [Brian Donaldson] U20 PV.
The Bronze medals came from Lauren Williams [Matt Elias] in the U23 U400mh, Steffan Dylan Jones [Darrell Maynard] in the U23 400m, and Tom Wilcock [Mark Lambeth] in the U20 110m.
There were also other notable performances from;
- Emily Thomas [Phil Warwicker] who jumped over 6m for the first time jumping 6.01m in the U23 Long Jump to 5th place.
- Pembrokeshire Harriers Tyree Thompson finished 4th in a new lifetime best of 14.32 in the U20m 110m Final.
Also, congratulations to all our other athletes who competed over the weekend:
- Seb Clatworthy, who competed in the High Jump.
- Beca Roberts, who competed in the Triple Jump.
- Isabel Thomas, who competed in the Pole Vault.
- Grace Morgan, who competed in the 100m hurdles.
