Statement in response to the 'Nowhere to run' documentary

Ahead of the 'Nowhere to Run - Abused by our Coach' documentary due to air tonight, Welsh Athletics would like to reiterate its zero tolerance approach to any abuse within the athletics community or society in general. We support the statement made by the Chief Executive of UK Athletics, Jo Coates, and would like to add our thanks to those athletes who've come forward to share their experiences.
We continue to work closely with UKA and the other home countries to ensure that the welfare of athletes and all involved in our sport is central to all we do. Please come forward and report any concerns, whether it is about yourself or someone else.
