Opportunities to represent Wales at Masters Level in 2024

Based on the success of the past two years there will be more opportunities to represent Wales at Masters Level across all distances from 5km to marathon in 2024.
Athletes have to be eligible to compete for Wales and registered athletes in Wales. It is expected that all athletes competing for Wales would take part in at least one Welsh Championship in the preceding or current year.

Teams of 6 male and 6 female athletes (4 to score) will be selected in 10-year age groups in the 5km, half marathon, and marathon, while for the 10km we will be selecting teams of 4 male and 4 female athletes (4 to score) in 5 year age groups. Athletes are required to meet the minimum standards as follows:

Selection dates for teams will be as follows:
- 10km/Half Marathon - 27 March 2024
- Marathon - 26 June 2024
- 5km - 17 July 2024
