Brett Morse is back with us with a new blog about the pride of competing in the red vest of Wales.
As I promised I have some films of my lifts I did at the end of my training camp in San Diego. The camp went very well and I met all my targets in the weight room and in training, so now I will start to sharpen up towards, of course, the European Championships and Olympic Games. However, I should also be in pretty good shape at the Welsh Championships on 4th of June.
I will compete for Wales for the first time since the Commonwealth Games this following weekend at the Loughborough International meeting. I couldn't compete there in 2011 as I was at the European Team Championships, but I am very excited to put the red vest on again.
There is something extra special about competing for Wales as I do class myself as Welsh rather than British, so it should be good fun doing this again. I will try and blog again after Loughborough and the week leading up to the New York Diamond league.
If you want to contact me or ask me anything about training, supplements or anything else you can do it via my website www.brettmorse.co.uk or follow me on twitter @brett_morse
