Over the coming weeks there will be an opportunity for interested endurance athletes, officials, coaches, race organisers and club officials to attend a series of open forums to discuss the issues and challenges of organising endurance events in Wales, whether it be road races, cross country, mountain and fell or trail.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure that the number and quality of events in the endurance calendar is maintained, and with the reliance on this sector, of mainly volunteers and small clubs/organisations the future of our sport needs to discussed to ensure a successful future of both quantity and quality.

At each location, ahead of the forum, there will be an opportunity to “go for a run” with local athletes, and light refreshments will be available for discussions on an informal basis.
