17 athletes supported by Welsh Athletics to compete at International Flanders Athletics Meet

17 athletes are being supported by Welsh Athletics to compete at the International Flanders Athletics Meeting in Oordegem, Belgium this weekend. The team travelling to compete overseas includes 3000m steeplechasers Ieuan Thomas (Cardiff AAC, James Thie) and Jonathan Hopkins (Swansea Harriers) who each hold an A and B Commonwealth Games nomination standard respectively, as well as 800m runner Naomi Reid (Cardiff AAC, Phil Banning) who will be hoping to gain valuable experience of competing at a large scale international meet before she competes at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas in July.
