The Ammanford 10K Road Race takes place on Sunday 8th July 2018 and entries can be done online in 2018 for the very first time. This fantastic race follows the traditional open-road route around Ammanford and the surrounding area.
Registration will be open between 08:30 and 09:30 at Ammanford Rugby Club, SA18 3AP with the race starting at 10.00am in the morning.
Online entry is just £8 affiliated and £10 unaffiliated plus booking fee. Online entry is now available!
Prize money will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall Male and Female runners. £60, £30 and £15.
Trophies are also available for: Open Male, M40, M50 and M60; Open Female, F35; F45 and F55 as well as the male and female team trophies which is first 3 to count.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded at a presentation in the Rugby Club after the race so all competitors are encouraged to join the presentation and for a post race drink and snack.
This is a Welsh Athletics approved race and results will appear on RunBritain rankings and Power of 10.

NEW FOR 2018: After a few years gap, in 2018 there will be a West Wales 10K Senior Road Race Championships incorporated into the Ammanford 10K on Sunday 8th July. Our thanks to Amman Valley Harriers who have agreed to the regional council incorporating the championships into their event.
Advance entry is advised as the race capacity is 400. Advance entry is expected for any runners who wish to be part of the West Wales Championships element of the 10K.
In addition for the West Wales medals athletes must have one of the following qualifications:
A - Birth; the athlete having been born in West Wales (Dyfed or West Glamorgan)
B - Residence; a minimum of 9 months continuous residence in West Wales immediately prior to this event.
