Welsh Athletics/WSAA Indoor Combined Events Championships

Important Pre-Event Information (further details including registration links to follow w/c 1st November):

  • Spectator numbers limited to 250 (pre-purchased tickets only).  No spectator tickets will be able to be purchased on the day of the event.
  • Coach entry limited to one coach per athlete.  Coaches MUST pre-register.
  • ALL athletes, spectators, coaches, officials and event staff must show a valid COVID vaccination passport or evidence of a negative lateral flow test via the NHS to gain access to the building. The only exceptions for this will be anyone aged under 11. 
    • Lateral Flow Tests can be ordered and results declared via this link.
  • All individuals attending the venue will be required to complete a pre-event health declaration electronically.  Failure to do this will result in you not being able to enter the building.
  • Face masks are compulsory at all times whilst in the venue - the only exceptions for this are whilst eating/drinking, and for athletes whilst either warming up or competing.

Entries for this event will be under the age groups of the following:

U13 - School years 6, 7 & 8 - (this will be for the U14 age group events)

  • Quadrathlon: 60H, LJ, SP, 800m

U15 - School years 9 & 10 - (this will be for the U16 age group events)

  • Girls Pentathlon: 60H, LJ, HJ, SP, 800m
  • Boys Pentathlon: 60H, LJ, 200m, SP, 800m

U17 - School years 11 & 12 - (this will be for the U18 age group events)

  • Girls Pentathlon: 60H, LJ, HJ, SP, 800m
  • Boys Pentathlon: 60H, LJ, 200m, SP, 800m

The scoring system to be used will be the traditional UK Combined Events tables, these will also be in use in the International Match in Glasgow in December.

A reminder to all athletes who wish to be considered for selection for the Combined Events International in Glasgow on Saturday December 4th. Only athletes who compete at the Joint Combined Events at NIAC on November 7th will be considered for selection. The first two Year 11/12s and the first two Year 9/10s are guaranteed a place (subject to their eligibility to represent WSAA, ie in education at a school or college in Wales), the other 2 places in each of the teams to be confirmed by the selection panel (same eligibility rule applies).
