Welsh Athletics Annual Awards and Hall of Fame dinner on 19th September 2008.
This year sees the 50th anniversary of the Empire (now Commonwealth) Games being held in Wales and to mark the occasion, all surviving Welsh team members and officials from the 1958 Games are to be invited to attend this year’s event. So far 16 team members have indicated that they will be there.
Also attending will be UK 400m record holder Iwan Thomas, three times Commonwealth Games champion Kirsty Wade, Commonwealth sprint hurdles champion Berwyn Price, former Commonwealth 30k walk champion Steve Barry and former world indoor 400m champion, Jamie Baulch.
