CARDIFF UNDER 23 5K ROAD INTERNATIONAL
Wales field a very strong team for the match against England and Scotland on home soil in Cardiff on 2nd March. The mens team of Simon Lawson, Craig Peters, Ieuan Thomas and Dewi Griffiths are all looking for fast times just 2 weeks ahead of the UK Inter Counties Cross Country in Nottingham. All four are extremely fit and hope a home advantage will lead to great performances.
David Bishop who finished 2nd in the Nos Galan road race on New Years Eve and running for Scotland will join Tom Russell in the Scotland team.
The womens team includes Leah Dixon, Elinor Kirk, Bethan Strange and Leanne Fitzgerald. This race also includes the Welsh 5k Championships for seniors, under 20s and under 23s so there should be good competition all around.
