STEVE DAVIES AND AMANDA PRITCHARD TAKE TO THE ROADS
Steve Davies is included in the Welsh team to compete in the Armagh 5k Road Race just outside Belfast next Thursday. Steve, known more as a track specialist will be taking on teams from around the World in this very fast evening race. Joining Steve in Armagh are Ian Mitchell who has just returned from warm weather training in South Africa, Matt Shone, getting in some speedwork before his first marathon in London, Craig Peters, competing for the first time for Wales on the roads, and road specialist Marc Hobbs. Some fast times are expected.
The women run over 3k and the team is headed by Amanda Pritchard. Amanda who has run 1:59 for 800m has been getting in some mileage while injured, should run very well over 3k. She is joined in the team by two young athletes Chloe Rodham and Claire Conway.
