1996 Olympic Discus Champion Lars Riedel ThrowsFest Masterclass
UKA will host a training masterclass with 1996 Olympic and five-time World Champion discus thrower Lars Riedel, on the weekend of the McCain Challenge ThrowsFest.
The practical presentation will focus on Lars’ personal beliefs on discus technique with a special emphasis on the role of mental training for competition preparation.
The same presentation will be given on both the Saturday and Sunday to give all coaches and athletes who are involved in ThrowsFest an opportunity to attend.
Please Note: The event is limited to 100 people on each day so book your place early to avoid disappointment.
Venue: Birmingham Indoor Athletics Centre, Alexander Stadium (same venue as ThrowsFest)
Date: Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 July (same presentation both days)
Time: 11:30-14:30 with a lunch break at 12:30
Price: £10 before Wednesday 22 July, £20 on the day
