Gina Paletta 6th at Euro Mountain Champs

Wrexham's Gina Paletta clinched a convincing 6th place in the Junior race at the European Mountain Running Championships in Austria, helping GB to a team 3rd place.

The Welsh athlete was the best placed British woman among all age groups, and the team bronze medal will be a great reward for her efforts. In the Men's Junior race, instead, Ricky Challinor ended 42nd with a time just below the hour mark.
