Elaine O'Neill is relay's Golden Girl

Wales' Elaine O'Neill won gold as part of the GB & NI 4x100m relay at the U23 European Championships in Kaunas, Lithuania.

O'Neill, who also finished 5th in the 100m event final, won a highly competitive race together with Annabelle Lewis, Joey Duck and Lucy Sargent - the tension of the event only made higher by a 2 hours and a half delay in the start.

Elaine's great effort over the whole competition helped Team Great Britain & Northern Ireland to an unprecedented haul of 18 medals and 2nd place in the medal table.
