Saturday 18th August saw Bridgend AC win the U15 Lge Plate Final held at Penlan Track in Brecon.

Bridgend fought off a good fight from host club Brecon AC and Neath Harriers who always seem to pull out a good performance in the finals at Brecon. The match after halfway became a three horse race with the lead changing after nearly every event, then Bridgend slowly crept into the lead and held it through the final events.

On a lesser note, Welsh Athletics and leaders of each division would like to wish Sam Stewart-Brown of Brecon AC a safe and speedy recovery from an injury at the beginning of the meeting, thanks to the Red Cross and ambulance service for their quick work
