Former World Junior Champion Jehue Gordon will be the headline name in a strong Trinidad & Tobago team at the Welsh Athletics International on July 18th.
Gordon, who specialises in the 400m hurdles and whose personal best is 48.26s, will be among other big names such as 10.1 sprinters Emmanuel Callender and Jamol James and, on the women's side, 11.05 100m sprinter Semoy Hackett.
This will allow the Caribbean nation to field what are expected to be some really competitive relay teams in both 4x100ms and in the men's 4x400m.
These names add to the many stars already included in the lineup, such as double Olympic medallist Kerron Clement (USA), World Champion Kim Collins (St Kitts and Nevis) and British Olympians Lynsey Sharp, Mervyn Luckwell, Brett Morse and Gareth Warburton, the last two being two of the five Welsh representatives in the athletics Team GB.
The competition will also involce Commonwealth Games stars like Ryan Spencer-Jones, Lee Doran and silver medallist Carys Parry.
