800m runner Lynsey Sharp, who has been selected for Team GB for the London 2012 Olympic Games, is the latest top name to join the ranks of the Welsh Athletics International.
The British athlete will use the Cardiff event, which takes place on Wednesday July 18 at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium, as her preparation meeting in her crucial run-up to the Games. Sharp will contest the 400m in the event.
German Champion and 6th in the European Championships Georg Fleischhauer (48.7s) has also been added to an already strong 400m Hurdles field which includes Jamele Mason of Puerto Rico (48.72), double Olympic medallist Kerron Clement of the USA (47.24) and Jehue Gorden of Trinidad (48.25).
