As in previous years, Welsh Athletics are encouraging Welsh athletes to participate at the UK U20 / U23 Championships and the UK Olympic Trials events.

These events offer great competition opportunities for Welsh athletes and should be a priority in each athlete's competition calendar.

As part of our commitment to support you at these events, Welsh Athletics are offering the following financial support awards:

Senior Olympic Trials & UK Championships- 22/23rd & 24th June Birmingham

• Attend; £100
• Medal Bonus; £100
• PB Bonus; £50

(Maximum Award available for each athlete - £250)

Conditions for award:

• Athletes must have achieved the UKA qualification guideline for these Championships in 2012
• Athletes are encouraged to wear a Welsh vest if they have one

U20 / U23 Championships 16th & 17th June Bedford

• Attend; £50
• Medal Bonus; £50
• PB Bonus; £50

(Maximum Award available for each athlete - £150)

Conditions for award:

• Athletes must have achieved the UKA qualification guideline for these Championships in 2012
• Athletes are encouraged to wear a Welsh vest if they have one
