Caryl Jones (Swansea Harriers) took silver at the Uk 10km Road Race Championships in central London on Sunday. The Championships were held within the BUPA London 10,000 which follows the same route as will be used for the Olympic Marathon this August.
Blistering temperatures were not enough to stop Caryl from finishing just 15 seconds behind Champion Mara Yamauchi (Harrow). Her second place finish also led the Harriers to the same accolade in the team competition, where they finished behind Charnwood and ahead of Aldershot in third.
