Following the success of last year’s Run Wales Series, 2012 will see its profile and support extended to non-Championship races, with a deeper prize structure aimed at raising the level of performance.
- Open to all Welsh registered athletes
- Best 5 scores for each athlete count
- 50 points for 1st placed athlete, then descending through race results for all finishing runners
- Double points for Welsh Championships events
(excluding Welsh Road Relays)

The first event is the traditional New Year's Eve Nos Galan in Mountain Ash - a fitting start to the 2012 series!
