Welsh Mountain Runners Selected for World Championships

British Athletics have recently announced their team for the up and coming World Mountain Running championships. From the team, Two Welsh Athletes have been selected for the team and will make the trip over to Premana in Italy for the up and down championships on the 30th of July. Heidi Davies of Brecon AC is the first of the Welsh Athletes to be selected, she will compete in Junior Women Category in what will be her third World Mountain Running Championship Appearance. The second of the athletes selected is Annabelle Mcqueen of Eryri who will join Heidi in the Junior Women’s race. This will be a second World Mountain running championship appearance for the North Wales based athlete.
